*Job Summary* We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible Camp Leaders to oversee and facilitate engaging activities for children at our Christian summer camp. This role involves creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for young campers, fostering their growth and development through creative programming. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a passion for teaching, and a background in early childhood education or tutoring. As a Camp Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring campers have a memorable and enriching experience while maintaining safety and order throughout the camp session. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise group activities, games, and educational sessions tailored to children?s ages and interests * Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and social development * Assist with planning and implementing daily schedules that include recreational, educational, and creative activities * Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by adhering to safety protocols and supervising at all times * Provide tutoring or instructional support as needed in areas such as reading, arts & crafts, or other camp-related subjects * Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers to promote a supportive camp community * Maintain cleanliness of activity areas and ensure equipment is used responsibly * Serve as a role model by demonstrating leadership, patience, and enthusiasm throughout the camp session *Skills* * Experience in tutoring or teaching young children with patience and creativity * Background in early childhood education or working with children in educational or recreational settings * Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members * Ability to organize activities that are both fun and educational * Leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups of children responsibly * Flexibility to adapt activities based on camper needs and weather conditions * Passion for working with children and fostering their personal growth Pay: $22.50-$23.50 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking Work Location: In person
