Labrador-Grenfell Zone is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL. The team consists of family physicians, mental health counselors, and allied health professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment while contributing to high-quality mental health care across the region.Happy Valley-Goose Bay is a vibrant and growing community in central Labrador, offering a welcoming atmosphere, strong sense of community, and access to exceptional outdoor recreation in one of Canada's most unique natural landscapes.????????????????????????????????????????QUALIFICATIONSEligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)Must satisfy credentialing requirements of the Labrador-Grenfell ZoneMedical Degree (MD) from a recognized institutionRelevant clinical experience (asset)Satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authoritySatisfactory record of work performance and attendance????????????????????????????????????????DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide psychiatric evaluation, treatment planning, and medication management servicesSupport the Mental Health Unit in Happy Valley-Goose Bay as part of a collaborative care teamProvide consulting services across the Labrador-Grenfell ZoneDeliver ambulatory care clinics via telemedicine link at Labrador Health Centre, Charles S.
