Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Recreational facility/institution. Military base or location. Tasks: Perform administrative tasks. Co-ordinate special events. Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development and administration of sports, fitness and recreation programs and activities. Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques. Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. Monitor and evaluate. Provide health, fitness and related support services. Implement new administrative procedures . Exercise to maintain physical ability and physical fitness. Supervision: 5-10 people.
