Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Socio-economic needs or conditions (housing, nutrition, unemployment, financial assistance). Services for the homeless. Bereavement issues. Work setting: Community agency. Shelter for the homeless. Tasks: Prepare reports or case histories. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Housekeeping activities. Resolve conflict situations. Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Manage events. Offer mentoring. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). Mental health first aid Certificate. First Aid Certificate. CPR Certificate. Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail. MS Office. Area of work experience: Community service organization.
