ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:<br>Position Title: Office Clerk I - CAD<br>Start Date: July 20th 2026 to 12/31/2026<br>Duration: Dec 31st 2026<br>Extension possible: yes<br>Conversion Possible: yes<br>Shift: 9 -5 –Monday –Friday<br><br>Work Location:<br>Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: hybrid<br>Anchor Days (if applicable): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday<br>Address: CAN, Nova Scotia, Halifax<br>We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to handle sensitive billing and policy-related inquiries while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The role involves providing clear and comprehensive verbal and written communication to internal business partners regarding inquiry resolutions, as well as identifying customer needs, clarifying information, and conducting thorough research to deliver accurate solutions or alternatives.<br>The successful candidate will be responsible for applying premium payments and deposits to policies, facilitating changes to payment modes, banking information, and pre-authorized payment arrangements. They will also process a variety of financial transactions including wire payments, refunds, suspense clearing, premium offsets, and chargebacks.<br>In addition, this role includes responding to general billing and policy change inquiries, performing detailed research and policy history reviews, and ensuring all work meets established quality standards and service-level expectations. The individual will be expected to consistently meet both individual and team performance targets related to quality and efficiency.<br><br><strong>CANDIDATE PROFILE DETAILS:</strong><br>Degree/Certifications Required:<br>High school diploma required;post-secondary education preferred (Business or Administration).<br>Years of Overall Experience:<br>1 years of office clerical or administrative experience.<br>Preferred Candidate Background:<br>Experience in financial services, insurance, or corporate administrative environments;familiarity with billing or data processing is an asset.<br>How will performance be measured:<br>Accuracy, productivity, turnaround time, adherence to SLAs, and quality of work.<br>Selling Points of Position (CVP):<br>Opportunity to work with a reputable organization<br>Stable work environment with growth potential<br>Strong team culture and structured processes<br>Exposure to financial and insurance operations<br><br><strong>MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:</strong><br>1.)
