*Job Overview* We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as General Laborers. In this vital role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities by performing a variety of manual tasks that support production, assembly, and warehouse functions. Your hands-on approach will help ensure safety, efficiency, and quality across all operations. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are highly valued. *Responsibilities* * Assist in *meat processing operations* (handling, cutting, grinding, stuffing, hanging). * Support the setup and breakdown of manufacturing lines, including loading and unloading *raw materials and finished goods*. * Follow *food safety and hygiene practices* (hand washing, PPE, allergen control) * Work *standing for extended periods* and handle repetitive tasks. * Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work spaces to identify potential safety hazards. * Comply with *CFIA, HACCP, and company policies*. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing materials, and waste. * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. *Experience* * Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. * Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly processes is highly desirable. * Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment plus; certification is a benefit but not mandatory. * Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing machinery enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role. * Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
