We are currently hiring an Evening Bartender. This role is mainly for evening and night shifts (starting 4-5pm), with occasional daytime flexibility for coverage when needed. This is primarily a bartending position, but additional serving shifts may be available for the right candidate. If you are an experienced bartender looking for steady shifts in a friendly, community-focused pub, we would like to meet you. *Why Work With Us* * Locally owned and operated * No corporate chain structure * Primarily evening and night shifts * Occasional daytime coverage available when needed * Additional serving shifts may be available * Positive team environment * Closed Sundays and stat holidays * Food discounts available on and off shift * Tips and Tip Outs by Servers (not pooled) * On-site parking * Supportive workplace with long-term regular guests *Job Responsibilities* _*Bartending Duties*_ * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages * Provide friendly and professional service to guests at the bar * Take bar orders and enter them into the Profitek POS system * Stock beer, wine, liquor, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies * Put away liquor orders, including Tuesday and Thursday deliveries when scheduled * Change beer kegs and pop syrups as needed * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar * Complete daily and weekly bar cleaning tasks * Wash, stock, and organize glassware * Assist with weekly bottle returns to the liquor store next door * Sell and validate BC Lotto tickets and pull tabs, training certification provided * Complete opening and closing duties * Follow BC liquor service rules and workplace procedures * Support the front-of-house team during busy service Additional Serving Duties, If Applicable Additional serving shifts may be available for candidates who are interested. _*Serving duties may include:*_ * Greeting and seating guests * Taking food and drink orders * Delivering food and beverages * Processing orders through Profitek POS * Clearing and resetting tables * Completing side duties and general cleaning tasks * Assisting with bathroom checks * Supporting teammates during busy service *What We Are Looking For* * Bartending experience required * Pub, bar, restaurant, or lounge experience preferred * Strong customer service skills * Comfortable working evening and night shifts * Occasional daytime flexibility for coverage is an asset * Friendly, reliable, and professional * Able to work in a fast-paced pub environment * Detail-oriented and organized * Strong communication skills * Team-focused attitude * Comfortable handling cash, POS orders, and bar service * Able to lift and move bar stock, kegs, and supplies when needed * Valid BC Serving It Right certificate required *Required Qualification* * Serving It Right certification, required in British Columbia *Preferred Experience* * Bartending: 1 year or more * Pub or restaurant service experience * Profitek POS experience * BC Lotto or pull tab experience, training can be provided *Schedule* * Primarily evening and night shifts * Occasional daytime coverage when needed * Closed Sundays and stat holidays Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: From $18.25 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Application question(s): * How would you commute to work? * Please list your current availability for work (days of the week/time of day) * Please list 3-5 upcoming days and times you are available for an interview. * Why do you think you would be a good fit at the Go
