*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic environment. *Responsibilities* * Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, Refrigeration units, ventilation units, and boilers. * Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. * Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe installation and leak repairs. * Conduct welding as needed for system repairs or modifications. * Maintain mechanical knowledge of appliances and related equipment to ensure proper functioning. * Perform routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate. * Utilize construction experience to assist with system upgrades or new installations on-site. * Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. * Document service activities thoroughly for record keeping and future reference. *Experience* * Proven experience working as an HVAC technician or mechanic in commercial environments. * Knowledge of plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and general mechanical maintenance is highly desirable. * Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints is essential for accurate diagnostics and repairs. * Experience with appliance repair or construction projects will be considered an asset. * Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. * Prior experience working with HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. This role is vital in maintaining safe and efficient climate control systems while providing opportunities for ongoing skill development in a professional setting.
