Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Computer-aided design (CAD). Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications and guidelines for production and construct prototype of design. Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts. Prepare shop drawings. Conduct quality control. Operate machining tools to fabricate parts. Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures. Program CNC machine tools. Operate machinery. Type of drafting: Shop drawings. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. SolidWorks software. Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator. InDesign. Autodesk REVIT. Instrument experience: Mechanical.
