Location: Victoria, BC (Hybrid/In Office)Company: JCR Electric Ltd.Position: Part-Time (15?25 hours/week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role. JCR Electric Ltd. is a growing electrical contracting company based in Victoria, BC. We specialize in commercial, industrial, healthcare and service electrical work throughout Vancouver Island and across British Columbia. As our company continues to grow, we?re looking for an organized, proactive Executive Assistant / Operations Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day operations of the business. This role will work directly with the owner to keep projects organized, improve systems, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Responsibilities * Manage daily scheduling for crews, subcontractors and client appointments. * Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service. * Monitor and organize company email inboxes. * Draft and respond to customer emails. * Follow up on quotes, purchase orders, invoices and outstanding payments. * Order materials and coordinate with electrical suppliers. * Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met. * Set up, organize and manage Jobber, helping build efficient systems and workflows. * Coordinate permits, inspections and project documentation. * Keep job files and records organized. * Assist with bookkeeping and invoice tracking (QuickBooks experience is an asset). * Identify opportunities to improve office procedures and overall business efficiency. * Help keep the business running smoothly so the owner can focus on managing projects and growing the company. Qualifications * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Confident using computers and learning new software. * Able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently. * Professional when dealing with clients, suppliers and subcontractors. * Experience with Jobber, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is considered an asset. * Experience in construction, the electrical industry, project coordination or office management is strongly preferred.
