The Opportunity * Play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing industrial organization. * Support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and business performance. * Work closely with leadership and operations to provide timely financial information and analysis. * Opportunity to expand your skills and grow your career within a dynamic and growing company. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting * Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. * Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. * Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules. * Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. * Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and internal management reports. Payroll & Compliance * Support payroll processing and payroll reconciliations. * Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. * Assist with GST, payroll remittances, and other regulatory reporting requirements. * Support year-end audit preparation and provide documentation to external accountants as required. Operational Support * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting. * Support job costing, project tracking, and financial analysis. * Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial information. * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and administrative efficiency. General Accounting * Maintain organized accounting records and documentation. * Assist with financial analysis and special projects as required. * Respond to internal accounting inquiries and provide support across departments. * Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications * Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. * 2?5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial, construction, or project-based environment. * Working knowledge of full-cycle accounting principles. * Experience with accounting software and payroll systems. * Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. * Professional communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
