*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to operate heavy equipment and perform vehicle maintenance as needed. *Duties* * Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated destinations. * Load and unload cargo using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary. * Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, verifying shipment details with customers or receiving personnel. * Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal vehicle performance. * Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps, adapting to traffic conditions and delivery priorities. * Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports of freight movement. * Assist with warehouse duties such as freight handling, inventory management, and equipment operation when required. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. *Requirements* * Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver?s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory. * Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or in freight handling is highly desirable. * Knowledge of automotive repair basics for vehicle maintenance is a plus. * Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally. * Physical ability to lift heavy loads, up to 50 pounds regularly, and perform manual handling tasks. * Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not required.
