CURRENTLY HIRINGCompetitive Day Rate-Offshore NewfoundlandEmployment Type: Ad Hoc / TemporaryJOB SUMMARY: Mechanic is responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the mechanical equipment.PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS: Marine Diesel Mechanics Certificate or Equivalent Combination of Experience and TrainingPrevious experience as Mechanic on a Semi-SubmersibleStructured and organized mindsetHigh level of integrityAnalytical abilityExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishMust pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening ChecksDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance and repair work as well as fault-finding work on mechanical equipmentComply with proper maintenance procedures in accordance with companies maintenance program.Update drawings of mechanical systems (P&ID) whenever changes are made.Responsible for mechanical workshop w/equipment.Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to the superior.Participate in the emergency preparation organization as per muster list.Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings.Emergency duties according to the unit's emergency organization.Perform other duties as assigned.The above is intended as a summary of the key requirements for the position and is not intended to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.It is the objective of Puglisevich to ensure employment equity within the workplace.
