In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams?including Engineering, Product, and DevOps?to ensure high-quality delivery across modern web, API, and enterprise applications.<br/></p><p ><b>Office Location: </b>Toronto<br/></p><p ><b>Employment Type: </b>Permanent<br/></p><p ><b>Role Type:</b> New position<br/></p><p ><b>Work Arrangement: </b>Hybrid (2 days in office)<br/></p><p ><b>Position Responsibilities:</b><br/></p><ul><li><span>Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects and teams<br/></span></li><li><span>Design, develop, and scale robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing<br/></span></li><li><span>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement<br/></span></li><li><span>Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC<br/></span></li><li><span>Drive end-to-end automation, including building frameworks from scratch where required<br/></span></li><li><span>Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases<br/></span></li><li><span>Oversee test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management<br/></span></li><li><span>Ensure comprehensive coverage across functional, regression, integration (SIT), and UAT testing<br/></span></li><li><span>Work closely with release management and deployment teams to support smooth product releases<br/></span></li><li><span>Establish QA standards, documentation, test architecture, and governance practices<br/></span></li><li><span>Analyze quality metrics and provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement<br/></span></li><li><span>Act as a key escalation point for quality risks, defects, and production issues<br/><br/></span></li></ul><div><br/></div></span><br/><span id="spanreq"><h3>Requirements</h3><p ><b>Required Qualifications:</b><br/></p><ul><li><span>10+ years of software testing experience within Agile development teams<br/></span></li><li><span>7+ years of strong hands-on test automation experience<br/></span></li><li><span>Proven experience leading QA teams or acting in a Lead capacity<br/></span></li><li><span>Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, REST Assured, Postman, or similar<br/></span></li><li><span>Strong programming skills in <b>Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript</b><br/></span></li><li><span>Demonstrated experience building automation frameworks from scratch<br/></span></li><li><span>Hands-on experience with <b>BDD/TDD frameworks</b> (Cucumber, <span>Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver.io,</span> TestNG, etc.)<br/></span></li><li><span>Solid experience with <b>CI/CD pipelines</b> (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)<br/></span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing types (UI, API, Functional, Regression, SIT, UAT)<br/></span></li><li><span>Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, etc.)<br/></span></li><li><span>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills<br/></span></li></ul><p ><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br/></p><ul><li><span>Experience with <b>SAP web testing</b><br/></span></li><li><span>Exposure to performance testing and security testing practices<br/></span></li><li><span>Experience in Agile Release Train environments (SAFe) or large-scale delivery programs<br/></span></li></ul><div><br/></div></span><br/><span id="spanben"><h3>Benefits</h3><p ><b>Salary Range:</b> $95,000 to $100,000 CAD/ year<br/></p><p >The final compensation offered will depend on local market conditions and geographic location, as well as job-related factors such as the candidate?s knowledge, skills, qualifications, relevant experi- Location Toronto, ON
