<p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Device Reprocessing Department Technician in the Support Services Department.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">The primary location for this position is: <strong>Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><ul><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent that is acceptable to the Hospital.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Current Central Service Techniques (CSAO) certificate is required (recertification required every 5 years)<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Recent experience with medical device reprocessing is considered an asset.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Ability to perform duties of decontamination, preparation/set up of processed items, sterilization, scope processing, record maintenance, distribution, dressing preparation, ordering, general cleaning/maintenance etc.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Physically able to perform all the requirements of the job.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Proficiency with Microsoft Office.</span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Able to work independently and in a team environment.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Demonstrated initiative and self-direction with the ability to work with minimal supervision and contribute to a team.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and continuing education.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis and be available to work all shifts.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Collaborates with other team members.<u></u></span></li><li style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;">Is knowledgeable of the roles of other team members and recognizes their contributions.</span><u></u></span></li></ul><p><span style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;"><strong>Other pertinent conditions</strong><strong>:</strong></span></span></p><ul><li><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Salary per the UNIFOR collective agreement ($30.15 per hour to $30.79 per hou- Location Ingersoll, ON
