<div><strong>Job Posting: Dispatch Security Guard - Camera Monitoring & Operations</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> 56 Pennsylvania Ave, Unit 18A, Concord, ON L4K 3V9.<br><strong>Position Type:</strong> Part-Time ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidaysations).</div><div><br></div><div><strong>About the Role:</strong><br>LTS Protective Services is currently hiring a <strong>Dispatch Security Guard</strong> to join our Operations Centre team. This is a part-time position responsible for overseeing communications, coordinating incident response, monitoring CCTV systems, and providing indirect supervision to frontline security personnel.</div><div><br></div><div>As the central communication point for field staff and management, the Dispatch Security Guard must remain calm under pressure, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and ensure accurate record-keeping in real time.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Dispatch security personnel to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.</li><li>Monitor incoming radio transmissions, telephone calls, and emails; document all communications accurately in the dispatch log.</li><li>Track and coordinate field operations, dispatching backup support as needed.</li><li>Maintain real-time monitoring of the CCTV camera system; report and document suspicious activity or policy breaches.</li><li>Update and manage lost and found, emergency contact lists, and key control systems.</li><li>Conduct periodic security equipment audits and report deficiencies.</li><li>Relay major incidents to management immediately.</li><li>Provide customer service and communication support to security staff and clients.</li><li>Assist with shift scheduling, availability tracking, and shift coverage coordination.</li><li>Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.</li></ul><div><br><strong>Required Qualifications & Certifications:</strong></div><ul><li>Valid Ontario Security Guard License (must be current and on file).</li><li>Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.</li><li>AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Certification.</li><li>WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).</li><li>Smart Serve Certification.</li><li>Resistance Management Systems & Use of Force Certification (Baton & Handcuff) - Stay Safe or LTS-approved instructor.</li><li>Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training.</li><li>Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (in accordance with LTS policy).</li><li>Minimum <strong>2 years experience</strong> in a security or operations-related role in Ontario.</li><li>Minimum <strong>1 year of experience</strong> in a dispatch, operations, or scheduling role.</li><li>Experience monitoring camera surveillance systems (CCTV).</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email systems, and basic scheduling software.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in multitasking in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong customer service focus and professional demeanor under pressure.</li><li>Knowledge of the <strong>Trespass to Property Act</strong> and other relevant security procedures (preferred).</li><li>Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul><div><br><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></div><ul><li>Prior experience using security dispatch systems or management portals (e.g., TrackTik, Silvertrac).</li><li>Familiarity with multi-channel communication (radio, phone, text, email).</li><li>Bilingual (asset but not required).</li><li>Demonstrated leadership or indirect supervisory experience.</li></ul><div><br><strong>Compensation Details:</strong></div><ul><li><strong>Base Rate:</strong> $17.60/hour.</li><li><strong>Courses Premium:</strong> +$0.80/hour (applied if certifications are valid and current).</li><li><strong>Total Rate:</strong> $18.40- Location Vaughan, ON
