Join us in empowering the next generation. *Job Overview:* We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging environment for children. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and experience working with children. *Duties:* Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and games for campers. Provide an itinerary of activities for the camp with a material list for what is needed. Provide and guidance and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of campers Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where campers can learn, grow, and make friends - Assist with daily routines such as meal times, bathroom breaks, and transitions between activities Collaborate with other counselors to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting Knowledge of child development principles and best practices Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a team environment CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training can be provided) Background check required Skills: - Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of activities Experience tutoring or teaching is a plus - Knowledge of early childhood education principles is beneficial.
