Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Cold/refrigerated. Livestock. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Handling animals. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Track and report on current feed inventory . Feed and tend animals. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Perform general farm duties. Area of specialization: Agricultural livestock service. Beef cattle. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently.
