*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess strong clinical skills, and have a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing essential dental services to patients of all ages. Prior experience with dental office software and a background in customer service are highly valued. *Duties* * Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Take dental radiographs as needed * Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care * Maintain accurate patient records * Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments * Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area * Address patient questions regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions *Requirements* * Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry * Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pay: $58.00-$60.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking Work Location: In person- Location Ottawa, ON
