We are seeking a part-time pharmacy assistant to join our team in Vancouver. There is potential for a future full-time position. *Position Summary* As the Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, preparing and delivering of prescriptions. Provide warm, friendly, proactive interaction internally and externally while delivering excellent patient care. Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet client needs. *Qualifications* * High School Diploma Required * Pharmacy Assistant Diploma is an asset * Prior community pharmacy or Kroll experience is an asset * Ability to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required (due to patient demographics) *Job Duties & Responsibilities* * Provide accurate and timely prescription preparation, dispensing and delivery * Provide a warm, proactive, friendly interaction internally with staff and externally with customers and allied healthcare providers * Resolve all patient and healthcare provider requests timely and positively * Handle all inquiries and refer to a pharmacist as necessary * Blister packing, compounding, inventory management * Type prescriptions and adjudicate third party billings * Operate cash register and complete customer pickups *Why Join Us?* * Great Community Neighborhood * Great Hours: No Sundays, No statutory holidays, No night shifts * Family-operated Canadian business * Adequate staffing * Competitive Pay *Hours: *16-32 hours from Monday to Saturday.
