Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Industrial electronics technology/technician. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Inspect operation of instruments and systems. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Repair and adjust system components. Complete test and maintenance reports. Remove and replace defective parts. Calibrate components and instruments. Logical approach for troubleshooting. Determine testing and maintenance procedures. Install new measuring instruments. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Type of service and repair: Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic sequential control system. Hydraulic and electro-hydraulic sequential control system. Electrical control system. Electronic process instrumentation. Pneumatic process instrumentation. Computerized instrumentation system. Instrument experience: Pneumatic. Electronic. Electrical instruments. Mechanical. Precision measuring instrument. Type of industry experience: Industrial instruments servicing. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system.
