*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert medication counseling, and ensuring optimal patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient safety protocols. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to support patient health outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. *Responsibilities* * Dispense prescription medications accurately following physician orders and legal guidelines * Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions * Review patient medication profiles for allergies, contraindications, and proper dosages * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient treatment plans * Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and standards * Maintain detailed records of prescriptions filled and patient interactions in accordance with privacy laws * Monitor inventory levels and order pharmaceuticals as needed to ensure adequate stock * Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies * Stay updated on new medications, medical procedures, and industry best practices *Qualifications* * Valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice * Hospital experience or acute care experience is highly preferred * Experience working in pediatrics or with diverse patient populations is a plus * Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols * Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail * Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is desirable but not mandatory; relevant internships or training are also valued This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert pharmaceutical care.
