They assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the safe and effective operation of various electrical and mechanical equipment. This position reports to the Electrical Supervisor.&nbsp;&nbsp;What you&rsquo;ll be doing.&nbsp;&nbsp;Rotating shift consisting of Days and Nights&nbsp;Actively contribute to the &ldquo;TEAM&rdquo; by working diligently to correct and prevent any instrumentation, electrical or mechanical problems where there is a safety or food safety risk or where there is the potential to limit OEE.&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for identifying, detecting and documenting all potential repair problems on the above-mentioned equipment during the course of your normal duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for reporting any HACCP Food Safety Risk&rsquo;s or identified problems.&nbsp;&nbsp;Attend Team meetings as required&nbsp;&nbsp;Managing daily SAP - Accountable for all Electrical/ Instrument deficiencies/findings by creating a Work Notification (work orders, Maintenance plans)&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain and manage equipment calibration and repair documentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;Installs, maintains and repair electrical/instrumentation/mechanical equipment, and fixtures.&nbsp; Ensure that the work is in accordance with relevant codes.&nbsp;&nbsp;Install and troubleshoot all pneumatic, electronic, electrical and analytical instrumentation devices&nbsp;&nbsp;Services all process control communication networks&nbsp;&nbsp;Services environmental and other analytical instruments&nbsp;&nbsp;Must work closely with production and maintenance supervision as a team player to keep line running with minimum downtime.&nbsp;&nbsp;Responsible for housekeeping in shop and any work areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by supervisor.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verbally communicate identified Emergency/Urgent repair problems effectively.&nbsp;&nbsp;Must comply with GMP&rsquo;s, Safety, and HACCP Best Operating Procedures.&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be able and willing to promote continuous improvement of workplace safety.&nbsp;&nbsp;Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.&nbsp;Time Management &ndash; Managing one&rsquo;s own time and the time of others.&nbsp;Maintains Safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the manager.&nbsp;Other duties as required by the needs of the business.&nbsp;&nbsp;This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, personal items, and attire while on the production floor.
