Home Comfort is growing across Ontario, and we're looking for experienced <b><strong>HVAC Technicians</strong></b> to join our team.</p><p>Whether your strengths lie in <b><strong>service and troubleshooting</strong></b> or <b><strong>installation and system setup</strong></b>, we want to hear from you. Based on your experience and certifications, you'll focus on either service, installation, or a mix of both - all within your <b><strong>local and surround regions</strong></b> (no need to travel across the province).</p><p>As part of our skilled field team, you'll work directly with homeowners to deliver exceptional comfort solutions through expert workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.</p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Depending on your skill set and experience, your duties may include:</strong></b></p><p><b><strong>Service & Maintenance</strong></b></p><ul><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.</li><li>Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.</li><li>Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to homeowners.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Installation</strong></b></p><ul><li>Install, replace, and commission residential HVAC systems including furnaces, A/Cs, water heaters, and heat pumps.</li><li>Ensure installations meet code, manufacturer, and company standards.</li><li>Conduct system start-ups and ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Lead or assist installation crews depending on project size.</li></ul><p><b><strong>General</strong></b></p><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed through mobile tools or written forms.</li><li>Ensure all safety protocols and local HVAC codes are followed.</li><li>Keep a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>Minimum <b><strong>3-5 years of HVAC experience</strong></b> (service, installation, or both).</li><li><b><strong>Valid G2 or G1 Gas License</strong></b> required.</li><li><b><strong>313D or 313A Refrigeration License</strong></b> an asset.</li><li><b><strong>ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention)</strong></b> certification required.</li><li>Strong technical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Valid Ontario <b><strong>driver's license</strong></b> with a clean driving record.</li><li>Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawlspaces).</li></ul><p><b><strong>What We Offer</strong></b></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay: <b><strong>$30.00 - $40.00/hr</strong></b> based on experience and licensing or per piece rate sheet.</li><li><b><strong>Health & dental benefits.</strong></b></li><li><b><strong>Company vehicle</strong></b>, tools, and uniform (where applicable).</li><li><b><strong>On-the-job training</strong></b> and ongoing professional development.</li><li>Opportunities for <b><strong>career growth</strong></b> across service, install, or leadership paths.</li><li>Supportive and safety-focused work culture.</li></ul></div></div>- Location Toronto, ON
