*Job Overview* We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team, that is available to work Mondays and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting with retail sales and front desk duties to ensure a seamless client experience. *Responsibilities* * Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences. * Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients? needs and offering professional recommendations. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and tools in compliance with health regulations. * Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, and styling products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. * Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments. * Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews. * Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon industry best practices through ongoing education. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon setting. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. * Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment. * Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining excellent client rapport. * Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. * Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required. * A valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
