*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to cover a maternity leave which can become a permanent position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional oral health services while fostering positive patient relationships in a modern dental practice. *Duties* * Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup * Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately using Cleardent * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies * Assist with patient education on treatment plans and post-procedure care * Take dental radiographs as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort * Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of all dental instruments and operatories * Manage patient flow efficiently, ensuring a smooth clinic operation and excellent customer service * Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care *Requirements* * Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist * Experience with Cleardent or similar dental software preferred * Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations * Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care * Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff * Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and safety protocols Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off Work Location: In person- Location Edmonton, AB
