*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a passion for excellent customer service, a keen eye for detail, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where teamwork and communication are essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. *Duties* * Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guests? tables efficiently and accurately * Ensure all dishes are presented correctly and meet quality standards before serving * Assist servers with food presentation and table setup as needed * Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas throughout the shift * Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation, or replenishing supplies when required * Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions * Handle guest inquiries professionally and provide excellent guest services * Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards at all times * Assist with cleaning duties including clearing tables, sweeping, and wiping down surfaces *Requirements* * Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not mandatory * Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor * Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Basic understanding of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus * Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary * Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move quickly around the dining area This role is integral to providing guests with a memorable dining experience through prompt service and attentive care.
