*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Kitchen Manager/Cook. This position is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking. A commitment to food safety and quality is paramount as you contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. * Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations. * Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. * General supervision and scheduling of kitchen staff * Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. * Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of customers. *Experience* * Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is required * Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. * Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and inventory and kitchen management * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
