*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gravel Truck Driver to join our team in Northern Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will operate heavy-duty trucks to transport gravel and other materials efficiently and safely across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to transportation regulations, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team committed to operational excellence. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate gravel trucks and other heavy equipment during transportation of materials. * Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. * Load and unload gravel, ensuring proper distribution and securing of loads. * Follow established routes and schedules, maintaining punctuality and efficiency. * Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs; report any mechanical issues promptly. * Assist with forklift operation or freight handling as needed for loading or unloading materials. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. * Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies during daily operations. *Requirements* * Valid commercial driver?s license (Class 1A) with a clean driving record. * Experience operating heavy trucks, preferably in construction or mining environments. * Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for maintaining vehicle performance. * Ability to handle freight securely and operate within safety standards. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and inspections. * Physical ability to load, unload, and secure materials; capable of working in outdoor conditions. * Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug and alcohol screening requirements.
