Next Gen DayCare is looking for an experienced, compliance-minded early learning leader to take the helm as our Centre Director. This is a rare opportunity to lead a growing, purpose-built program in one of Alberta's most desirable small communities ? and to shape how a next-generation, science-based approach to early learning comes to life every day. If you know the Early Learning and Child Care Act and Regulation inside out, if you can run a licensing inspection with total confidence, and if you lead teams the way great educators lead classrooms ? with structure, warmth, and high standards ? we want to meet you. *What You Bring* * Current ECE Level 3 certification (required). * Demonstrated leadership experience in a licensed Alberta child care centre, ideally at director or senior supervisor level. * Working command of the Early Learning and Child Care Act, the Early Learning and Child Care Regulation, and Flight: Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework. * Direct experience managing licensing inspections or corrective action plans. * Strong judgment and a calm, decisive leadership style under regulatory or operational pressure. * A clean, current Vulnerable Sector Check. *What We Offer* * Salary: $55,000?$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. * Full-time, Monday to Friday ? closed weekends, statutory holidays, and designated PD days. * A growing program, with vision to expand, with real investment in curriculum, outdoor space, and facilities. * A mission-driven team built around sustainability, multiculturalism, and science-based early learning ? not a generic daycare chain. * A genuine leadership role: direct access to ownership, real input on policy, staffing, and program direction. * The pace and community of small-town Okotoks, without sacrificing the scale or ambition of the program.
