This senior-level position goes beyond traditional project accounting: the successful candidate will serve as a key steward of financial data quality across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, and connected SQL-based reporting infrastructure.</p><p>You will work closely with project managers, operations leadership, and the Controller to provide real-time financial visibility, support forecasting, and lead efforts to ensure that the data driving business decisions is clean, consistent, and reliable. This role also embraces the use of AI tools to enhance productivity, accelerate analysis, and surface insights. The ideal candidate combines strong project accounting experience with hands-on fluency in ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and data management in a project-based manufacturing or engineering environment.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>London, ON<br><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Full Time<br><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$80,000 - $100,000<br><strong>Department: </strong>Finance</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p><p><strong>Project Accounting</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with project teams to support financial visibility and project performance throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Track and monitor project costs, budgets, and revenue throughout the project lifecycle</li><li>Prepare and maintain project financial reports and variance analyses</li><li>Work with project managers to review project performance and forecast financial outcomes</li><li>Support monthly project revenue recognition and WIP analysis</li><li>Reconcile project-related accounts and ensure financial accuracy</li><li>Assist with project setup including budgets, billing structures, and cost codes</li><li>Review timesheets, expenses, and subcontractor costs allocated to projects</li><li>Assist with billing and invoicing tied to project milestones or progress</li><li>Identify financial risks or overruns and communicate them to project teams</li><li>Support month-end close activities related to project accounting</li><li>Maintain documentation and audit trails for project financial transactions</li></ul><p><strong>Financial Systems & Data Integrity</strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary functional owner of financial data quality within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring master data, project setups, cost codes, and posting structures are accurate and consistently maintained</li><li>Perform regular data validation and hygiene checks across Business Central, identifying and resolving discrepancies between ERP records, project actuals, and financial reports</li><li>Write and maintain SQL queries against the company?s reporting databases to support data validation, ad hoc analysis, and the dev- Location London, ON
