Installation. Construction. Tasks: Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Utilize hand and power tools. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Determine layout and installation procedures. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Document and prepare invoices and work orders. Repair and service exterior prefabricated products. Install interior prefabricated products. Install exterior prefabricated products. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination.
