The ideal candidate will be able to handle heavy merchandise with great care and commit to providing our customers with the ultimate delivery experience. Being a delivery driver for DOT Furniture means you are often the final connection between the company and our valued customers. As an integral member of our team, you are responsible for the careful loading and unloading of delivery trucks, providing professional, efficient delivery service in the customer?s home, and working with other departments to ensure a positive overall customer experience. The individual will also be required to spend time in the warehouse as needed. *Who are we looking for?* Willing to provide an efficient, safe, and comfortable delivery experience for our customers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. G drivers license At least 3 years of driving experiences with heavy trucks At least 1 year experience in home furniture/appliance delivery service Openness, approachability, and sincerity *Responsibilities:* Drive in a safe and professional manner Load, pack and unload items with care. On time delivery Ensure that no items are damaged while moving. Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation Place furniture in the requested positions Warehouse work as needed Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking * Store discount Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Furniture assembly: 2 years (required) * Furniture delivery driver: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: In person
