Job Summary Tonic Kitchen & Bar at Hotel Clique Calgary Airport is looking for an experienced and motivated *Food & Beverage Supervisor* to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and bar while ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, and team performance. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate restaurant and kitchen team members. * Lead daily restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures. * Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of hospitality. * Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistency. * Train, coach, and support team members in customer service, food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures. * Promote a positive, respectful, and productive work environment. * Assist with onboarding and evaluating team members. * Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels. * Maintain inventory levels and order food, beverages, and supplies as required. * Monitor food and beverage costs while minimizing waste through proper storage and inventory rotation. * Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, wastage, and temperature logs. * Ensure compliance with all Alberta Health Services food safety regulations and company policies. * Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently met. * Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and resolve issues whenever possible. * Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs as needed. * Assist the Director of Food & Beverage with administrative duties, special projects, and other operational needs. Qualifications * Minimum *1?2 years of supervisory experience* in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment. * Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. * Excellent organizational and time management abilities. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Banquet experience is preferred. * Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. * Experience with inventory control, labour management, and cost control. * Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. * Ability to provide outstanding customer service and professionally handle guest concerns. * Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. * ProServe certification (or ability to obtain) is considered an asset. * Food Safety Certification is considered an asset.
