Italia Salami Co. is a growing and innovative food manufacturing company seeking a well-organized and self-motivated individual for the full-time position of Delivery Driver. *Office location: *16 Fair Rd, Guelph, ON N1K 0A1 *Type of employment: *Full-time, permanent position *Schedule: *Monday to Friday *Wage information: $21.00/hour to start* We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver (Driver) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the same and timely delivery of our products to customers using the company?s delivery vehicle. This position involves local deliveries, greater GTA, GTA, southwest Ontario, Hamilton, London, Niagara, KW with regular interaction with customers and our packaging staff, while ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and professionally. The Driver is a member of the packaging team and will report directly to the Plant Manager. *Key functions of this role include:* * Complete deliveries of goods and products accurately and on time. * Safely operate a company vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies. * Transport and unload products in a safe and efficient manner. * Verify delivery orders and ensure products are delivered to the correct destination. * Manage appropriate product paperwork and provide all necessary documentation upon delivery. * Accurately complete required logs, documentation, and temperature checks where applicable. * Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns immediately. * Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and internal team members. * Follow all health and safety policies, including safe lifting, material handling practices, and proper personal protective equipment use. * Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times. * Other related duties as required. *Qualifications and Requirements:* * Valid Ontario Class G license with a clean driving record * Minimum 3 years of continuous and verifiable delivery driving experience with references available. * Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract (abstract required) * Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 40 lbs. * Experience using pallet jacks. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent customer service and communication skills. * Ability to work independently while managing delivery schedules. * Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices.
