The Ministry of Community Safety is seeking a Deputy Director, Health Operations to lead health service delivery at Pine Grove Correctional Centre. This permanent full-time leadership role oversees multidisciplinary health teams and ensures safe, effective, high-quality healthcare aligned with provincial standards. The ideal candidate is an accountable, collaborative, inclusive, and results-focused leader with experience managing health teams in complex environments. Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, change management, and decision-making skills are essential. Candidates should have experience in healthcare operations, public health, quality improvement, budget and contract management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. An undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession with a clinical background is required. Leadership experience in healthcare, corrections, or the public sector is preferred, and professional licensure is an asset. Responsibilities include overseeing health operations, supervising health leaders, managing budgets and contracts, ensuring compliance with legislation and professional standards, implementing clinical protocols, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with correctional and community partners.
