*Job Summary* We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a dedication to customer care and a strong understanding of various massage techniques to meet individual client needs. The Massage Therapist will create a calming environment and ensure each client receives personalized treatment in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols. *Duties* * Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities. * Assess clients? physical conditions and discuss their wellness goals to develop appropriate treatment plans. * Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions. * Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness practices. * Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress while respecting confidentiality. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices. * Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and address any concerns or special requests. * Stay current with industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills. *Requirements* * Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Strong communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and listening to client needs. * Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calming demeanor at all times. * Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary. * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends may be beneficial but not mandatory.
