Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made. Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints. Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products. Inspect final products. Conduct quality audits . Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Cabinetmaker Trade Certification. Policy and program experience: Apprenticeship training. Area of specialization: Millwork.
