SummaryBell's AI Fabric initiative is pioneering a secure, sovereign AI compute network across Canada. This ambitious portfolio features seven large-scale, high-density data centers, anchored by a 500 MW British Columbia supercluster and a 300 MW flagship site in Regina, Saskatchewan As HSE Program Director, you will own the Health, Safety & Environment program at the portfolio level?defining the HSE strategy, standards, and governance framework that every site inherits and executes against. You'll be the senior authority safeguarding the well-being of the workforce and Bell's regulatory standing across all builds, embedding a zero-incident culture, driving consistent safety and environmental performance, and maturing the HSE function as the program scales aggressively nationally. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the enterprise HSE program strategy across the national data centre portfolio, establishing standardized health, safety, and environmental standards, policies, and playbooks. Define and govern the HSE management system, ensuring consistent, fleet-wide application of safety protocols, environmental controls, and regulatory compliance across all sites. Provide program-level oversight and governance to site-based HSE leaders and contractor safety teams, ensuring alignment to standards and shared lessons learned. Embed a zero-incident safety culture across the program, driving leadership engagement, worker education, and behavioral safety at every level . Establish program-wide HSE performance metrics, leading/lagging indicators, and reporting, providing roll-up visibility to Capital Programs and AI Fabric leadership. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and jurisdictional occupational health & safety and environmental regulations across sites in multiple provinces. Lead incident management, investigation, and root-cause analysis programs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement fleet-wide. Define contractor and vendor HSE prequalification, onboarding, and audit standards, holding GC/EPC partners accountable to program safety expectations. Drive environmental stewardship and sustainability compliance across builds, including permitting, environmental impact, and site remediation requirements. Build, mentor, and scale the HSE program function as the national program grows. Critical Qualifications15+ years of HSE leadership on large-scale construction or capital programs, with direct experience on hyperscale, mission-critical, or major industrial builds (multi-site portfolios preferred) . Proven track record establishing HSE standards, management systems, and governance at a program or portfolio level?not just single-site safety management. Deep knowledge of Canadian occupational health & safety and environmental regulations across multiple provincial jurisdictions. De- Location Calgary, AB
