Who we are The Attorney General is the law officer of the Executive Council and is responsible to see that the administration of public affairs is in accordance with the law and to ensure protection of the public interest. The Legal Services Branch provides civil and constitutional legal advice and representation to all provincial government departments and related agencies. The Office of the Attorney General is seeking an individual to join the Legal Services Branch as Lawyer 1 or 2 within the Administrative and Employment Law Group.What you will do The successful candidate will be assigned to the Administrative and Employment Law Group and will work with other lawyers in a team setting and be responsible for appearing in all levels of courts and before administrative boards and tribunals on matters pertaining to administrative, employment and labour law. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting research in specialized areas of the law and providing legal opinions and advice to government departments and agencies.
