In this impactful role, you will work closely with the Department of Opportunities and Social Development (OSD) and with many teams across CSDS. You will report to a Director of SDD and be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative functionality in the Integrated Case Management system (ICM) and in other systems supporting OSD. Primary AccountabilitiesAs Program Manager, your primary accountabilities include providing leadership for priority projects as well as providing leadership within the Service Design and Delivery branch of CSDS.Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to):Providing leadership in the identification, design, planning, implementation, integration, and evaluation of multi-function, cross-departmental projects.Collaborating with SDD and OSD leadership team to align project initiatives with the strategic priorities of the division.Building strong, collaborative relationships across OSD, CSDS, and the rest of government.Managing a multidisciplinary team of IT professionals to deliver on key initiatives, including internal GNS staff, cross-departmental subject matter experts, as well as external resourcesWorking closely with the current technical teams delivering in-flight projects, support, and maintenance to ICM and other technologies across government.Coordinating projects and business activities (often carried out by others) that establish how and when the department will deliver products and services.Developing innovative solutions by integrating and analyzing complex and diverse information sources and building frameworks to assess the scope and priority of short- and long-term business needs.Contributing to the preparation of advice and recommendations to government including Memoranda to Executive Council, Reports and Recommendations, and Requests for Legislation.Performing strategic advisory/principal-level consulting to senior executives by leading, directing, and guiding the development and implementation of major, complex, multi-sector projects and initiatives.Qualifications and ExperienceYou have completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, along with several years of progressive, senior-level management experience.
