About Us At Idlewyld Inn & Spa, we're passionate about serving fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We're looking for an experienced and dependable Hot Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities * Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. * *Set up and stock cooking stations before service.* * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area. * *Ensure food is prepared quickly and consistently during busy service periods.* * Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation. * *Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.* * Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and fellow kitchen staff. * *Assist with prep work, inventory, and closing duties as needed.* Qualifications * Previous experience as a line cook or hot line cook preferred. * *Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.* * Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. * *Excellent communication and teamwork skills.* * Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. * *Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.* The Idlewyld Inn & Spa welcomes diversity and inclusion in the workplace and encourages applications from all qualified individuals, including visible minorities, Indigenous People, and persons with disabilities.
