Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Head office. Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Calculate fixed assets and depreciation. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Prepare trial balance of books. Reconcile accounts. Prepare payroll. Prepare general ledger. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems. Perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail. Manage accounts payable. Manage accounts receivable. Maintain payroll. Maintain filing system. Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing. Perform data entry. Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying). Perform reception and clerical duties. Prepare bank reconciliations. Advise senior management. Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements. Print and photocopy material . Prepare reports for senior management. Organize process of incoming and outgoing mail. Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software. Database software.
