Job Opportunity: Baker (Night Shift) *Location:* Oshawa, Ontario *Company:* The Baker?s Table *The Baker?s Table* is looking for a skilled and versatile *Baker* to join our night production team. We are looking for an individual who is equally comfortable working with traditional breads as they are with fine pastries and cakes. If you have a passion for the craft and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: * *Breads:* Execute nightly production of artisan breads, rolls, and buns, ensuring perfect crust and crumb through proper fermentation and baking. * *Cakes & Pastries:* Prepare and bake a variety of cakes and pastries, maintaining consistent quality and presentation. * *Icings & Fillings:* Prepare house-made icings, creams, and specialty fillings from scratch to finish our baked goods. * *Equipment Operation:* Safely operate industrial mixers, ovens, and proofers. * *Preparation:* Scale ingredients with precision and prep doughs and batters for the upcoming day. * *Cleanliness:* Maintain a spotless and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Requirements: * *Experience:* Minimum of *5 years of experience* in a professional bakery environment is *mandatory*. * *Technical Skills:* Proficiency in bread making, cake baking, and the preparation of delicate fillings and icings. * *Reliability:* Must be highly dependable and comfortable working the night shift independently. * *Work Ethic:* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse production schedule.
