As part of the agricultural automation research team, the successful candidate will conduct experiments supporting research and development in robotics and automation for livestock and crop production systems. The work aims to improve production efficiency, reduce labour and time requirements, and enhance animal and worker safety. Responsibilities will include:• Assemble, install, program, control, and maintain robotic and automated systems used in agricultural environments.• Integrate sensors with robotic systems and troubleshoot the resulting hardware and software interfaces.• Configure, integrate, deploy, and test vision-guided robotic systems.• Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and publications.• Order supplies and equipment and maintain laboratory and field equipment.• Participate in multidisciplinary research projects and assist in prototype fabrication and system validation.• Support field trials in barns, research farms, gre- Location Lethbridge, AB
