Our modern manufacturing facility combines advanced equipment, premium printing capabilities, and domestic production to provide customers with reliable, environmentally responsible packaging solutions. *Schedule and Shift Requirements* The regular shift is Monday to Friday from *7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.* Candidates must also be flexible and available to work extended or alternate shifts based on production requirements, including: * Day shifts of up to 12 hours between *7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.* * Night shifts of up to 12 hours between *7:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.* * Additional hours and occasional weekends, as required *Position Summary* The Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving and processing incoming materials, preparing orders for shipment, moving products throughout the facility, and supporting inventory and quality-control activities. This position also helps ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards. *Key Responsibilities* * Receive and inspect incoming products and materials. * Accurately label and store items in their assigned locations. * Report any discrepancies between deliveries, packing slips, and invoices. * Organize inventory and apply FIFO (first in, first out) controls where required. * Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment. * Load, unload, and transport products and materials throughout the warehouse. * Prepare and stage orders for shipment. * Perform routine physical inventory counts according to established schedules. * Maintain clean and organized work areas, including loading docks and receiving areas. * Follow all company safety policies, Ontario OHSA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures. * Use all required personal protective equipment. * Perform other warehouse and production-support duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * Valid Reach Truck/Forklift Licence is required. * Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both Gather Packaging facilities during the workday are required. * Must be at least 18 years old. * Minimum two years of warehouse experience is required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. * Ability to lift up to 50 lb and frequently lift or carry objects weighing up to 35 lb. * Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions. * Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods. * Must be flexible and able to work extended day or night shifts when required.
