As we continue to grow, we're looking for individuals who want to make an impact and help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure.</p>The<strong> Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> will support product development and future production duties for a new, microturbine-powered turboblower. This will involve performing manual tasks associated with assembly and testing of a new turboblower product.<br><br><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The following duties will be performed on a daily and as needed basis.</p><ul><li>Perform low-voltage electrical wiring and connections for sensors, thermocouples, control systems, and other electrical components.</li><li>Install, wire, and troubleshoot industrial control panels while ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.</li><li>Identify and recommend improvements to electrical routing, installation, maintenance, reliability, and cost efficiency.</li><li>Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of microturbines, enclosures, and ancillary equipment.</li><li>Modify, create, and maintain fixtures, assembly tooling, and shop equipment as required.</li><li>Ensure shop tools are properly maintained, organized, and stored after use.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.</li><li>Perform rotor balancing activities and support related mechanical operations.</li><li>Conduct part inspections using hand gauges and electronic measuring equipment to verify quality standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory organization and ensure efficient retrieval of parts and materials.</li><li>Other duties as necessary.</li></ul> <br> <i></i><br><ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel layouts.</li><li>Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuit separation, and crimping techniques.</li><li>Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Ability to inspect components, verify tolerances, and support electromechanical assembly activities.</li><li>Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) and basic Microsoft Office skills.</li><li>Strong organizational, teamwork, and adaptability skills.</li><li>DEP or DEC diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electromechanical Technician.</li><li>Ability to perform physical work, work flexible hours when required, travel occasionally (including to the U.S. with a valid passport),</li><li>knowledge of welding, balancing equipment, electric motors, or pumps is considered an asset.</li></ul>- Location Blainville, QC
