Sales Representative / Project Coordinator *Company:* Cypress Railing & Gates *Location:* North Vancouver, BC *Job Type:* Full-time About Us Cypress Railing & Gates is one of British Columbia's leading providers of premium custom railings, gates, fences, architectural metalwork, and exterior solutions. We specialize in residential, commercial, strata, and multi-family projects throughout Metro Vancouver. We are looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Representative / Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This role combines sales, estimating, customer service, and project coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, subcontractors, and our production team to deliver an exceptional customer experience from the initial inquiry through project completion. Key Responsibilities * Respond promptly to new customer inquiries by phone, email, and CRM. * Build strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, architects, and strata managers. * Schedule and conduct site visits when required. * Review architectural drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. * Prepare accurate estimates and quotations using company pricing guidelines. * Follow up consistently on all quotations and maintain detailed CRM records. * Coordinate projects with fabrication, installation teams, and subcontractors. * Review shop drawings and ensure they match approved quotations before sending to customers. * Manage project documentation, approvals, and customer communications. * Maintain accurate updates in Monday.com CRM throughout each project. * Assist with material orders and project scheduling. * Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional and positive attitude. Required Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of experience in construction sales, estimating, project coordination, or a related industry. * Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction plans. * Proficiency with: * Bluebeam Revu * Microsoft Excel * Microsoft Outlook * CRM software (Monday.com preferred) * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. * Valid BC Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following industries is considered a strong asset: * Railings * Gates * Fencing * Glass railing systems * Aluminum fabrication * Metal fabrication * Architectural metalwork * Construction estimating * Building envelope * Exterior renovations Knowledge of QuickBooks, construction scheduling, or project management software is also an asset.
