<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Job Title: </strong></b>Kitchen Helper</p><p><b><strong>Position Type:</strong></b> Casual / On-Call (days and evenings)<br /><b><strong>Department:</strong></b> Food Services / Dietary Services</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Job Summary</strong></b></p><p>The Kitchen Helper supports food service operations in a long-term care environment by assisting with meal preparation, food service, dishwashing, sanitation, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. The role contributes to providing nutritious meals and quality service to residents while following food safety standards and infection-control procedures.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Assisted with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.</li><li>Prepared meal trays and supported meal service for residents.</li><li>Washed dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.</li><li>Maintained cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas according to health and safety standards.</li><li>Stored food, supplies, and inventory properly following food safety guidelines.</li><li>Assisted cooks and dietary staff with daily kitchen operations.</li><li>Followed Food Safe, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.</li><li>Worked flexible shifts on an on-call basis, including weekends and holidays.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>Grade 10-12 education or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Food Safe Level 1 certification is often required or considered an asset.</li><li>Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or institutional food service is an asset.</li><li>Ability to lift supplies, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Serving with a spirit of love, we are a healthcare staffing agency dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare serves through innovative clinical solutions that elevate wellness across the communities we serve.</div></div><h3>Company Description</h3><div>Serving with a spirit of love, we are a healthcare staffing agency dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare serves through innovative clinical solutions that elevate wellness across the communities we serve.</div>- Location Prince George, BC
