Accounting, finance and insurance - Partially remote - Furneco International has been established for 98 years, 26 of them in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, and sells measuring instruments and controls. Reporting to the General Manager, you willbe responsible for performing tasks related to accounting operations, as wellas preparing financial statements and certain documents required for the auditprocess. Your main responsibilities will be: - Completing the full accounting cycle- Entering routine transactions into Acombasoftware- Performing bank reconciliations- Preparing month-end and year-end journalentries- Preparing monthly and year-end financialstatements- Preparing payroll- Generating statutory reports (GST/QST/DAS)- Maintaining the books, including recordingpurchase, sales, payroll, and bank entries- Processing supplier payments- Monitoring customer accounts andcollecting outstanding invoices- Performing all other related tasks. Desired Profile: - Hold a DEC or AEC or equivalent inaccounting- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience- Excellent knowledge of spoken and writtenFrench and English- Proficiency in Acomba software andMicrosoft Office- Professionalism- Good time management and prioritizationskills- Autonomy and strong organizational skills- Meticulousness and resourcefulness- Ability to concentrate, be patient, workin a team, communicate effectively, be rigorous, exercise sound judgment, andbe diplomatic.
